Keeping your child safe at home
Every year, very sadly, many children are injured or even die through accidents in the home, which could have been prevented. In fact most serious accidents to under 5s happen at home. Sometimes families are not aware of the risks posed by ordinary every items. For example a grape is exactly the right size to get stuck in a young child’s windpipe, causing them to choke and stop breathing. This can be prevented by cutting them in half lengthways. Also did you know how dangerous button batteries can be if children swallow them?
