We have had a fantastic few weeks learning about Christmas and why it is celebrated. We joined in with the St. Bride’s Christmas Tree Festival and were delighted to win the prize for the most beautiful tree.
The children have heard the Christmas Story, decorated the school Christmas trees, made Christmas cards and learned songs to sing to their families at our Christmas Singalong events. We loved being able to invite our families in to see us sing our songs and then stay for a mince pie afterwards.
We also really enjoyed our Christmas parties where we played games with Martin, “Pass the Parcel” and “Pin the red nose on Rudolph”. We had some very yummy party food in Christmas sandwich boxes. Our amazing party was topped off by a visit from Father Christmas who had a beautiful Christmas book for everyone – and a chocolate reindeer!
