Early Years Quality Mark

We have held the Early Years Quality Mark for over 6 years. This award is given to settings who can prove that they are providing the very best education for young children, helping them to develop their English and Mathematics skills in an age appropriate way. It is an assurance for our families that your children will thrive and make the best progress with us.

Settings are re audited every 3 years and so we recently welcomed an external assessor on 21st March 2022, who came to make sure we are still meeting all ten rigorous standards. Our assessor spoke to our Head Teacher, Tam, the teaching staff, the children and the Chair of Governors. She spent a lot of time watching the learning activities in the classrooms and in our garden, seeing how each child is supported to make progress in Maths and English. She also spoke to a group of parents about how we support them to get involved with their children’s learning.

At the end of her visit we were delighted to be re awarded the Early Years Quality Mark in recognition of our excellent practice! We put our children at the centre of everything we do and it is wonderful that the assessor saw this in action.
