Maths Champions

At Abercromby Nursery School, we are committed to developing children’s mathematical thinking through meaningful, play-based experiences. We are proud to have two members of staff who have successfully completed the Maths Champions Programme and now work alongside our Maths Coordinator to promote high-quality mathematics provision across the nursery.

Together, they support the ongoing development of our indoor and outdoor learning environments, ensuring that children have rich and engaging opportunities to explore number, pattern, shape, measure, problem-solving and mathematical language throughout their day. By embedding mathematics into everyday play and routines, we help children develop confidence, curiosity and a positive attitude towards maths from an early age.
